Free SOLD 5" gauge Royal Scot kit - SOLD Sheffield

On behalf of a deceased engineer's wife a 5” gauge "Royal Scot" kit which has been started with work to the frames, buffer beams and other small parts but little else. Comes with a professionally built copper boiler by GB Boilers tested to 220psi complete with its original certificate dated 2005 (present day price well over £3000). and includes the frames, smoke box, an almost complete front bogie, driving wheels with axles, a lot of castings, 2nº nameplates "Gordon Highlander" and the all important three cylinders so when built it will sound like the real thing. There's also a Stanier tender frame and brass tender body kit. Many drawings including a couple of sets by Martin Evans and also Don Young tender drawings plus three books "The Royal Scots and Patriots of the LMS" by O S Nock,"Royal Scots of the LMS" edited by Douglas Doherty and "LMS Locomotive Profiles" NRM, Wild Swan Publications.There is no guarantee that all the castings and parts needed to complete are included so have a good look at the photographs (other photos available) and ask any question if you would like to know more.
