This is a 3/4" Allchin produced by Michal Holden and Co of Banbury in or before 1978. It has been steamed a couple of times since then but has been kept safely in storage with the odd trip out for oiling and cleaning. This one has been converted for gas firing and the gas container sits in the van towed behind.
Its claim of fame is that this is one one presented to Lord Mountbatten at the 1978 Model Engineering Exhibition when he opened the exhibition. Anyone wanting the full story can contact me for the complete writeup. In great shape as the pictures show.
