5 inch Gauge Bo-Bo
£2850 ono

1928 BO-BO Diesel Electric
By Nigel Grassley of the LNER 2398

This loco is an experimental conversion of one of the N.E Sheldon Bo-Bo electrics at the merger of the LNER
I have built a working model in 5inch gauge.

This loco has been shown at many exhibitions, on the Northern Association stand. Even though there are no photos or plans of the real life loco, at one exhibitions in York railway museum, two gentlemen came over and was taking to me and it turned out in there younger days, they worked on this loco and they said the loco was pretty much as they remembered

Powered by 4 x 24 volt traction motors with notched timing belt drives
4QD controller, horn, runs very well pulls passengers.
Comes in its own storage box, just needs battery’s of your choice

This is a rare model and my research has shown this could be the only one modelled in 5inch gauge

The reason for selling, as it’s a heavy at my age to use
