Pound £3,950 2-6-4T Stanier outer surburban (Jubilee) Southampton

Published date: May 21, 2022
  • Location: Southampton, Hampshire, United Kingdom

This is rather nice example of the Jubilee first publised in the Model Engineer in April 1958. She is in ticket, recently.
Usual features and a few more, mech anical lub, handpump in the right hand tank, interesting water emptying valve in the bunker. One mysterius valve that turns out to be a valve opening tool tidily on a spigot. Comes in her original tansit and storage box which hinyts that this loco was built in Bolton many years ago by a very skilled model engine.
Selling to finance a new 5" loco and head of a divorce (not really, just kidding!)
